So as I sat down and pondered on the idea of my next video project I noticed a trailer of the new Indiana Jones movie. After viewing it I suddenly realized that the story of an adventurous archaeologist, fighting bad guys, wielding a pistol and a whip is in reality a really far fetched story. It doesn't depict the true life of an archaeologist does it? Then it came to me.... why shouldn't someone try to film a movie about real archaeologists. But as it turns out, if you take away the guns, big explosions, intense fist fights, cool one liners, then that wouldn't be very interesting now would it? And besides... I doubt that any of my professors (yes I study archaeology) would be interested in acting in my interpretation of the true life of an archaeologist. So where does that leave me?
Chapter 1: The Idea
One day when I was suffering from a great deal of boredom that was the result of a lack of creativity I decided to do something productive... as it turned out making a blog was the most productive/creative thing that i could think of. Therefore I just started writing. Actually i have no specific ideas on what to include in this internet journal so I guess ideas are just going to start popping inside my head and something will come up eventually.
